Police Community Support Officer Claire Doughty

Claire joined West Mercia in 2007 after working for Sussex Police from 2004 - 2007. During her time with West Mercia, she has been part of the Safer Neighbourhood Teams in the Hagley area patrolling Hagley, Belbroughton, Romsley and the Clent Hills. She then patrolled Leominster Rural before transferring to Malvern, initially on the Chase & Priory ward and now Upton SNT. Claire has gained lots of experience from this role dealing with lots of different things from road traffic collisions, fallen trees, livestock on main roads, disputes, traffic control, alcohol-related incidents, to all sorts of different events and protests. As well as meeting with other organisations to help lots of different communities, Claire is also First Aid trained. She also holds community surgeries in either community halls, scout huts, and wherever the public go the most.
